Week 4- Infancy/Toddler Development Assignment:

You can select a topic or common issue related to infancy or toddler development. For example, Research has highlighted how poverty and parenting can impact healthy development in infancy and toddlerhood. As social workers, you will help to identify delays in cognitive development or other areas of development. Furthermore, you must consider what factors may contribute to or affect an infant or toddler’s development and explain how this experience may impact parents.
Create a PowerPoint presentation addressing the following:

Behavior results from a blend of biological factors, such as gender,  temperament, and social experiences, such as attachment and family experiences. Select a topic or common issue related to infancy or toddler development (e.g., sleep disorders, crying, feeding and diet, discipline, and sexuality, aggression and biting, toilet training, and school avoidance).
Discuss the factors that contribute to the topic or issue.Highlight how racial, ethnic, and social diversity can impact the subject or topic.As a social worker, what questions would you ask your client better to understand the infant or toddler’s development/condition?
