1) Create your own infographic on a topic of your choice. Piktochart are two great free resources. If you are having trouble thinking of a topic, the PEW Research CenterLinks to an external site. is a great place to start. Remember, the purpose of your infographic is to inform your audience of something, so you should be including facts, data, and statistics on your topic.
2) In a separate document, include a brief (about 250 words) explanation on what strategies you used to design your infographic and how it will work to reach your audience.

Grading Criteria – Written Assignments
An “A” paper will be clean of errors, handle the topic clearly and concretely, display a solid grasp of rhetoric, and reflect professionalism
A “B” paper will be fairly clean of errors, handle the topic appropriately and effectively, but may convey it with slightly less depth and understanding
A “C” paper will not treat the topic sufficiently and will have more mechanical or grammatical errors than an A or B paper
A “D” paper will lack clarity, have poor organization and multiple errors, and will have a vague, unclear treatment of the topic
An “F” paper is likely incomplete, will have a severe amount of errors, and will convey an inappropriate or misunderstood treatment of the topic
