1. If you are able to discuss your own organization, explain what the policy of your organization is regarding internal vs. external recruiting? What types of business strategies might be best supported by recruiting externally and what types might call for internal recruiting?
 
2. Investigate an Internet recruiting site that you have not previously used. Monster.com and careerbuilder.com are just two possibilities. Analyze and describe what you found. How useful might this site be to you and your classmates in finding jobs? Finding applicants for jobs in your organization? What useful services does this site provide?
 
3. When did you last see your job description? Did it accurately represent what you did in that position? Have you had a chance to give input into that or your current job description? What recommendations do you have to make either about your specific job description or the process by which job descriptions are formulated?
