Tell me a story. 
Write an imaginary episode (fictional story) about anything you want (anything but waking up late and having to rush to work or spilling your coffee. Those isn’t pushing the boundaries of the imagination. Dare to be a little more imaginative!)
What makes a good story?  For our purposes, the two requirements below:
First, the basic elements of plot. Please identify each element in parentheses in your story.  I’ll take off points if you don’t identify them.
a situation (A)
undergoing some change (X)
which then leads to another situation (B).
Second, include at least one other plot element from your chapter (exposition, foreshadowing, rising action, etc.) and identify it/them as well.

Be as creative as you’d like with this! The point is to familiarize yourself with mapping the basic elements of a rudimentary plot.
This assignment should be at least 400 words, and will be assessed on its formal clarity, the quality of the writing and editing, its degree of engagement with its topic, its creativity/inventiveness/originality of ideas, and the sophistication of thought it expresses.
