Oftentimes when we have a particular interest in a career, we don’t really consider how that career might impact the environment or perhaps human rights. Think about the career you are pursuing or a career you might be interested in. Research how or whether this career affects the environment or human rights (don’t research both; that’s too much). Is this career on track to improve environment/sustainability issues or human rights, or will it make things worse? Does this career make an overall positive or negative impact on the environment or people’s well-being?
