Sometimes, job satisfaction is defined as cognition (attitude), emotion, or both.
Consider a time when you were satisfied with your job and a time when you were dissatisfied with your job… (I was dissatisfied with my job in the military when I had toxic leadership that showed favoritism and did not care about people. I was satisfied in my job when the toxic leadership was removed and new leadership replaced them. ) 
List the cognitions (thoughts) you had and the emotions you had.
