1) What would you like to do? Indicate the desired service/product and the impact of this product in the question.
2) Is it possible to identify multiple solutions for this service/product right now? What do you need to know in order to understand the causes and conditions contributing to this real-world problem? What are the constraints? 
3) What information is needed to gain a good understanding of the situation? (Become familiar with the topic.) Who can serve as a human resource on this topic? What research has already been done in this identified design challenge? What did you learn from this research that might be helpful to you?
