In your fifth discussion forum post, please share your ideas for your capstone project. The post will serve as a sort of early draft of your inquiry question/proposal and will enable you to get feedback from your peers and professor.
Provide a narrative of how you have come to choose this topic, why you are interested in it, how it may relate to your academic or career interests, and why you think it’s an important topic. Then try out some tentative inquiry questions and your thoughts on these; do you worry they are too broad? too narrow? What do you plan to argue in your essay? Consider trying to complete this sentence:
“I want to persuade to/of/that because .”
Also give us a sense of what do you already know about this topic as well as what do you need to know/types of research you plan to conduct.
Make it clear which disciplinary perspectives or cognates (if you are an LST major) you will be using to conduct your investigation.
