Discussion 7: Examining Use of Sources in a Documentary
Most documentary films present a case supported by substantial research. Like all researchers, documentary filmmakers choose which sources to use and how to use them. As you write your capstone project you will have to make similar choices. 
For your seventh discussion forum post, examine how the filmmaker Cullen Hoback incorporates research in the documentary. Terms and Conditions May Apply. What types of research are included in the film? How is research organized and presented to support the argument that corporations are invading our privacy through their use of our personal information? How effective are their sources? Can you think of other types of evidence that they could/should have included?
