First Draft:
This draft will require 300 words or roughly three paragraphs and be based on one of the three options listed below. The first paragraph must contain a clear thesis statement otherwise known as the argument. The second paragraph must have your first citation in Chicago manual of style from the Dumenil book, an example will be listed below. The second paragraph must contain a shortened citation from the Dumenil book, an example will be listed below. Use this assignment as a practice run for the final paper. It is to be submitted in Times New Roman, 12pt font, double spaced, with paragraphs indented. Failure to submit a draft will result in points off and you will not be allowed to submit a final paper without a draft. You must save this paper to a computer in order to submit it, save it as filename.docx then submit. Use of ChatGPT, Grammerly, or other similar software is NOT permitted and will result in penalization at the professor’s discretion.
