My experience with telemedicine has been quite positive overall. I have seen how much patients and the healthcare system have gained from it in the course of my career. One of the key benefits of telemedicine is the provision of accessible healthcare services (Balestra, 2018). Patients are no longer required to travel for hours to have an appointment with a doctor or to deal with long queues. Contrary to booking an appointment weeks ahead, I have been able to connect with them at their place of comfort. This has, in fact, given me a great deal of time and has also been of great use to patients in that they can now do away with the stress that comes with traveling to appointments, especially on those hectic weekdays. Telemedicine has also improved the productivity of healthcare delivery in many ways.
