Each student will conduct a search of online library resources to find 1 recent peer-reviewed article (within the past 3 years) that closely relates to developing meaningful relationships in negotiations. Your submission must include the following information in the following format:
Key Topic / Term:
Developing Meaningful Relationships in Negotiations
DEFINITION: a brief definition of the key term followed by the APA reference for the term; this does not count in the word requirement.

SUMMARY: Summarize the article in your own words- this should be in the 300 word range. Be sure to note the article’s author, note their credentials and why we should put any weight behind his/her opinions, research or findings regarding the key term. This is where you include a brief summary and description of the content of the selected article.

ANALYSIS: 7 Paragraphs —- Using 400 words, write a brief analysis, in your own words provide your own critical analysis based on your thoughts / opinions of the article and the author rather than describing the content of the article. DO NOT describe the content of the article – you do this in the summary section.
The analysis section is for your personal critical analysis and sharing your opinions and thoughts on the article. There should be a full complete thoughtful paragraph in your analysis section for each of the following questions:
– Why did you choose the selected article and what made it compelling to you? – Provide full paragraph.
– What did you like and dislike about the article and explain why? – Provide full paragraph.
– Do you believe the author did a good job? Why or why not? Provide full paragraph.
– What do you believe the author could the author have done better? Provide full paragraph explaining your recommendations.
– Provide alternative or supporting viewpoints of another author / article you can find that agrees or disagrees with your author’s positions or provide further clarity or understanding? Explain in a full paragraph. – This will cause you do do additional research – YOU WILL have to find ANOTHER article / author – we are not writing a description of the content of your article – you must understand the content and then find another article that supports or disagrees with your article and you must briefly explain the similarities or differences.
– What areas of further research do you believe the author should continue with? Explain in full paragraph.
– What audience do you believe would most benefit from reading this article? Explain why you believe this in a full paragraph.
NOTICE HOW NONE OF THE QUESTIONS ABOVE HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH DESCRIBING OR DISCUSSING THE CONTENT OF THE ARTICLE. The analysis is for you to provide your own creative thought to thoughtfully evaluate the article – not describe or discuss the content – ONLY DESCRIBE OR DISCUSS THE CONTENT IN THE SUMMARY section.
