A 72-year-old patient with benign prostatic hyperplasia causing symptoms of hematuria and dysuria presented for bilateral prostate artery embolization. During the procedure, the right common femoral artery was cannulated along with the contralateral left internal iliac artery and multiple attempts were made to cannulate the left prostate artery. Despite the effort, the left prostate artery could not be successfully cannulated. Subsequently, the right internal iliac artery was selectively cannulated and Embosphere® particles were instilled into the right prostate artery. Once stagnant flow was identified within the right prostate artery, imaging showed complete occlusion with preservation of its vesical branches. Assign the correct ICD-10-PCS code for the prostate artery embolization.
