An 85 year-old man was admitted to the hospital for hip fracture due to fall at home. He lives alone and had been incapacitated for 24 hours before a neighbor checking on him called for medical help. After examination and testing, the bone scan showed abnormal densities in the right ilium and additional hot spots in the long bones of the extremities. History of the patient revealed that he had been experiencing urinary retention problems and nocturnal x4 for some time.
