This assignment is all about choosing a color palette and using the textbook and all that you know about color to describe WHY you made those selections.  The same with lighting, you will use your new knowledge to select lighting and will describe both functionally why you selected it and how it affects the colors and materials you have chosen.  
Instructions
OVERVIEW
Choose one room, either a: Kitchen, Living Room or Bedroom
Select a color finish/palette (see requirements below) for that room, you will select images of these finishes and use them in your presentation.
Select light fixtures, make sure to address the (3) lighting layers (see textbook) for that room
Create a presentation and upload it to Canvas

Finishes/Color Palette Selections to Include:

Floor Finish – Stone, Tile, Wood or Carpet

Wall Finish – Paint, Vinyl or Paper
Millwork (Cabinetry) – Plastic Laminate, Wood
Countertops – Plastic Laminate, Stone

MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS ASSIGNMENT:
 Make sure to answer the following:
What are the types of lighting required and WHY?

HOW will the lighting AFFECT the tasks and the colors/finishes in the room?
Notes:
Use the lecture, your textbook, and other design resources to help format and guide your presentation.
You can include a floor plan you find on the internet, you do not need to draw one.

Please do not include a photo of a room already designed.  YOU are designing it.
You can include images of what you want the cabinetry to look like, but must focus in on the cabinets, not the entire room.
