In this exercise, you will practice using Adobe Illustrator to use shapes and lines to create basic elements and principles of design. This assignment will helpyou understand how to communicate through design using lines and shapes to express emotions, rhythm, symmetry, and asymmetry. You will alsoexplorevisual hierarchy and emphasis. These are concepts you will consider as you design your client logo and stationery items for your final project.
Prompt: Using the provided Elements of Design Template, use Illustrator to practice lines and shapes. In the first set of boxes on the template, createsixemotions using lines only. In the next set of boxes, use shapes to create three different formats: rhythm pattern, symmetrical design, and asymmetrical design.In the last set of boxes, demonstrate emphasis through isolation, values, and size.
