Write a persuasive essay regarding Restorative Justice.  You will argue in opposition of the using that disposition to resolve criminal cases.  If you are in favor of the disposition, explain why in a substantive response.  As part of it, indicate what types of cases should permit use of that disposition and be specific regarding types of crimes, victims who are related to the defendants, stranger cases, etc. – just explore different scenarios).  If you argue in opposition to it, why do you believe it should never be used?  Explain your response thoroughly. 
For this essay, include the following:
Paragraph 1: Introduction
Paragraph 2: Explain what either shaming or restorative justice is, and then answer the questions presented in the directions above.  
Paragraph 3: If you support the disposition being used, do research and find a case where you would support that type of sentence being given.  Explain why you chose that case.  If you do not support it, give an example of a case where it was used and explain why you would not have given that sentence if you were the judge.  Explain your response. 
Paragraph 4: Conclusion

         Your essay should be 2 full pages, double-spaced, 12 point font Times New Roman.  You need a Title page in proper APA 7 format, and the title page is not part of the 2-3 page requirement.  You need a Reference page at the end to cite your source(s), and that page is not part of the 2-3 page requirement, either.  Include citations throughout where needed to avoid plagiarism.
