Think about this week’s readings and the video provided in the libguide on female gang involvement. Discuss what types of interventions might be successful in steering girls away from gang involvement. Are they the same approaches that should be employed to deter boys away from gangs? What factors motivate girls to join a gang? Are these factors fundamentally the same or different from those influencing boys?
