Step 1: Review the Othello  character map and read the plot synopsis.
Step 2: Watch the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre’s Company’s performance of  Othello (suggested: read along with the text). Note: it’s always a good idea to have the text handy because you’ll be using direct quotes from the play later in the post.
Step 3: Address the following questions in 1-2 paragraphs: Given Aristotle’s definition of tragedy, do you believe Othello is responsible for his own fate, or do you think Iago is to blame? Support your position using specific examples from the text.
