Choose one of the most common microbial infections affecting the elderly. Then,
Describe the infectious disease,
Identify the causative agent and the factors that influence susceptibility to microbial infections in the elderly.
Discuss any changes in the immune system of the elderly that may affect their ability to fight off infections and disease.
Discuss the most common treatments for your selected infection.
