Double-Check: Does my essay meet the requirements?
Is my essay 1,000 words, and did I include my word count at the end of my essay? 
Did I include all parts (Hook, TAG, background and context, and thesis statement) of the Introduction paragraph? 

Did I include a strong thesis statement as the last sentence of my introduction that includes my claim (how you did apply or are applying the Habit Loop to your Habit Change)?
Did I summarize my readings in my first body paragraph and integrate and cite quotations from texts into my summary?
Did I tell my story in my second body paragraph and integrate and cite quotations from texts into my narrative?
Did I analyze my Habit Change and include the parts of the Habit Loop in my third body paragraph? Did I integrate and cite quotations in my analysis?
Did I write my conclusion by restating my thesis but not in the same words? Did I include why this change is important and how it will affect my future?
Did I use MLA for in-text citations and my Works Cited entry? If you have questions on MLA, OWL Purdue’s MLA page will give you an overview of citations and their in-text citations page will give you specific instructions for in-text citations.
Submitting Your Essay
Document File Type

Your essay must be a Word Doc or PDF file. If you submit a Pages file, Canvas will convert it to a .txt file; thus removing all of your formatting. This will negatively impact your grade. Let me know if you need any help submitting your work!
If you submit through Google Drive, your file will be converted to either a Word Doc or PDF in Canvas which is good.
Late Work Policy
In order to progress through the modules, you will need to view the assignments for appropriate due dates. If you miss a due date, you have until the assignment closes to submit your work.
Submitting an assignment late has the following consequences:
