I concur with your argument that the damages are reasonable and that based on the YouTube video; McDonald’s was found to be blameworthy. It is interesting to note that the punitive damages go above if the defendant is found to be reckless as with McDonald’s who have been neglecting customer complaints. However, I disagree with your opinion that contributory negligence did not play a factor in this case. This is because although it is not a complete fault, 20% fault is quite substantial. This is not only because the genetic makeup determines anatomy but also because with the current scientific advancement, genes can be modified.  As a result, the point of how one is born is not a defining factor, is one of the critical elements to genuinely understanding people.  It is important to note that through human genetic modification, many gene-associated defects can be fixed. I agree with your argument that a human's sexual identity should not be restricted to only the scientific classification (XX & XY) and intersex should be another type of classification.  Consequently, we will be able to throw out the societal notion that there are only two sexual categories and value the wishes of every person.  Besides, society should change its culture and respect individuals who fall in categories other than male and female.
