An essay has an introduction, followed by body paragraphs, and a conclusion. For the introduction, answer the prompt question (Thesis statement) after analyzing the secondary source articles and videos. The introduction and thesis statement provides the foundation for the paper. The body paragraphs support your thesis with examples from the secondary source articles and videos. The conclusion wraps up the main ideas that were discussed in the paper; essentially, re-wording the introduction.

This is not a research paper; however, you still need to cite information that is not your own original work by using the provided in-text citations. Use lecture notes, assigned readings, and video clips to help with the paper and to receive full credit. It is ok if it goes a little past 500 words. Just no 10-page papers 🙂
