Personal Statement Essay and Scholarships
Goal
During your education you will most likely be writing a Personal Statement. This could be for a scholarship or applying for transfer to a university. For this assignment, I’d like for you to consider applying for scholarships/transfer and to write your Personal Statement needed when applying for scholarships/transfer.
Every semester, Cuyamaca and Grossmont offer scholarships in which there is a deadline to apply. There are also outside scholarships to apply to as well. Every fall semester, many students apply to California State Universities (CSU), University of California (UC) and/or private schools for transfer. At some point in your educational journey, you will need to write a Personal Statement.

Choices – Describe a situation where you made positive or impactful choice that helped shape you into the person you are today. (Applicant must demonstrate a proper use of spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Answer must be between 100 and 200 words).
Career Goals – Please tell us about your career goals and how your education at Grossmont/Cuyamaca College will help you meet those goals. (Applicant must demonstrate a proper use of spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Answer must be between 100 and 200 words).
