Objective
The purpose of the creative reflection assignment is for students to identify an experience in healthcare that was difficult or traumatic (either as a student nurse or a personal experience) and reflect on how the situation could have been handled by a holistic nurse.
Instructions
Identify a situation in the healthcare setting that could have been improved through care from a holistic nurse. Briefly describe the situation (maintaining HIPAA confidentiality) and the events that occurred. Reflect on actions that were done well or were appropriate and what could have been improved through the practice of holistic nursing. Include rationales/reasons for your recommendations/suggestions.
