The 46 year old patient with a diagnosis of paraplegia due to an incomplete severing of T5. The patient is participating in skilled occupational and physical therapy inpatient rehabilitation to work on transfer goals for a discharge to his best friend’s home. They will be discharged to a first floor set up with no steps to enter. They will require the use of a wheelchair for functional mobility. The patient has good trunk control when seated at the EOB.
