Ensure that your definitions are based on what you have learned from the course materials, but avoid directly copying textbook definitions. Use your own words to explain the concepts. Explain why you found each term interesting. Did this term challenge your previous understanding? Was it something entirely new to you? Describe how your perception of these concepts may have evolved since you began the course. Reflect on how you initially formed your views about these concepts. (2 points per term)
2. Applying Your Knowledge:
Consider the broader implications of what you have learned about society and sociology. How can you apply your knowledge of race and ethnicity in the future? Reflect on the ways in which your understanding of race and ethnicity from a sociological perspective can be an asset in various aspects of your life. For example, think about how this information might be useful in your future career. Even small acts can make a difference. Identify at least one specific way in which you can use your sociological understanding of race and ethnicity in the future. Be as concrete and specific as possible.
