Begin by using pexels.com to search for a high quality re video for use on the chili pepper (see link above) and a re smoke video (no rewood), download each to your computer. 2. Then using Google or pexels.com search for a high quality image (1,000 pixels or above) of a hot chili pepper of your choice. 3. Next search for a high quality fork or other eating element that holds the pepper in place again 1,00 pixels above 4. Create a new document in Photoshop Size 1080 by 1080 pixels and 300 pixels per inch 5. Then open the chili pepper image in a new tab in Photoshop by using the File menu at the top and open the chili pepper image 6. Use the object select tool to select the pepper and copy and paste too the new document 7. Transform and scale the pepper as seen in the given tutorial, ipped up side down 8. Copy and paste the fork using the same technique above 9. Scale and transform the fork to t under the pepper, rearrange the layers so the pepper is on top of the fork 10. Now go to the background layer and nd a nice deep color that contrasts the pepper for the foreground color, for example a dark red if you chose a red chili pepper 11. Using the paint bucket ll the background layer with the color 12. Go to the paintbrush and select a nice warm color for the highlight on the background, like a warm yellow 13. Create a new layer for the highlight and choose a soft paintbrush with a low opacity and a large brush size to t behind the fork and pepper 14. Create the highlight and transform lower opacity as needed 15. Next go to the1 and got to Layer-New Video Layer From File 16. Navigate to your re loop and choose it 17. Right click on the layer and select the video loop convert to a smart object 18. Then transform the re to t above the pepper and where you would like the ames to be, hold shifts to distort while transforming if needed 19. Using the layer blend modes drop down menu nd one that works best for you to blend the re 20. Add a layer mask and blend the edges into the pepper using the paintbrush and BW colors 21. Repeat the same technique from above and add the smoke video fi fi fi ff fi ff fl fi 22. Now nd and download a font that ts the theme of your ad 23. Type the Chili’s restaurant name, convert to a smart object and animate coming into the ad 24. Now add the slogan Spicy Summer BBQ, convert to a smart object and animate a glowing/ ashing e ect around it 25. Finally add a crackling re e ect to the nal piece and export the nal social media ad
