Explain how various urinary disorders cause and/or worsen chronic kidney disease and failure and summarize how various disorders cause impaired urinary elimination and renal function.  

Explain the clinical consequences of impaired urinary elimination and renal function.  
Apply understanding of urinary system alterations in describing various common disorders such as urinary incontinence, infections, tumors, malignancy, glomerular disorders, and kidney disease.  
Discuss fluid and electrolyte movement and regulation and acid–base regulation and compensatory mechanisms.  
Analyze arterial blood gases, determine cause and effect of fluid, electrolyte, and acid–base imbalances, and summarize the interrelationship of electrolytes and components in fluids.  
Apply understanding of fluid, electrolyte, and acid–base imbalances when describing various disorders associated with imbalances.
